You might be surprised to hear that construction sites are a common target for criminals. Whether it’s building materials, to large heavy equipment, the sad truth is, construction sites get hit all the time. In fact, recent statistics reveal that theft alone costs the construction industry a whopping £800million a year, something that hasn’t been helped by the recent Covid-19 pandemic, which led to a mass shortage of equipment hire and long lead times.
